Opening files not in the Repository

The AppBuilder’s File Open command gives you access to objects not in the Repository.

To open and edit files that are not registered as objects in the Repository:

From the AppBuilder main window, choose File Open File or choose the Open button on the toolbar.

The Open dialog box appears.

Change the current folder if the file to open is located in a different path than what is displayed.
Change the file type to display only files of a specific type.
Type the name of the file you want to open in the File Name field or select the file from the list of files displayed.
Choose Open.

The selected file opens for editing in an AppBuilder design window. The AppBuilder handles the file as a non-Repository object even if the file was previously created or added to the Repository as a static object.
